    First time buying a fondue, i was split between buying a gas one and an electric and i definitely made the right choice with electric. It’s easy to use – just plug it in and turn the dial and heats up very quickly. When finished all you have to do is turn it off, lift off the pan (the pan just sits on top of the heater) and wash. Easy to bring out, easy to put away.     This is great, it gets hot quickly and perfect for fondue, i’ve just done a fondue for the office, and needed this as naked flames arent allowed in the building. It took some cleaning, the diswasher got most of the base clean, needed a hand finish. I bought 2 of them, and they’re both perfect.

    But not as good as my previous fondue. It is a bit flimsy and the oil takes a long time to heat up and not as hot. Its taken a back shelf in my kitchen unfortunately.
