Does a great job in the caravan. It comes with a two year warranty too.

It is light easily controlled and does all you would want for a plug in unit.

As an emergencey back-up, it is essential.

Well packed and item was as described. Only observation is that the control positions for on and off are different for each side which is confusing.

Heats up very quickly but cools down slower.

Works well but i left it on twice as the switches on either side each work the oposite way round.

Really great product looks very smart and heats up very quick. The service was very quick, only ordered at midday on sunday but was delivered at 7pm the same day. Would buy again from this company.

Really pleased with this item.

Excellent addition to a very small kitchen.

  1. Brand new, so this is not totally comprehensive but the hotplate is an improvement on my other very good hotplate. Ceramic hob controls are most efficient and cooking time will be lessened. Very useful for those people in a hurry. The thermostaic controls aid safey too. I did have to purchase a suitable heavy red dot style, steel saucepan. I did this with little trouble.

    I thought the price was a bit steep for a hotplate, but i am pleased with my purchase. I have owned two regular hotplates in the past and on the lowest setting they do not simmer they boil and on higher settings they boil rigorously, and after a year all the thermostat setting just boil rigorously even at zero. So i bought this ceramic version hoping the thermostat would be better and last longer, so far so good. You can have it low enough to just keep cooked food warm (oh heaven) or gentle simmer to more rigorous simmer, to boil and then really boil, yup.That thermostat works perfectly. The controls have a small light indicator so you know which one is on – handy. It’s easy to clean with microfibre cloth and washing up liquid, i’ve not spilled/burnt on anything yet, but apparently you can use any cream cleaner for that or purchase a scraper specially designed for removing burnt on food. I’ve only owned my palson hotplate since december 2017 (roughly three weeks) and hope it will continue to work well for two or three years, it has a two year guarantee so any problems before this time frame it can simply be returned – bonus.

Also is easy to forget when the hob is left on as the light only comes on when the temperature needs to rise again. The dials at the front are very cheap feeling and coud easily break. Adequate for a temp hob tho.

    Love this neat little counter top hot plate. I bought this to replace the one i was using that went pop the day before. Highly adjustable, heats instantly. I have a tiny kitchen and no cooker (just loads of appliances) and this fits perfectly.
