Outstanding, very simple and is effective good.

Took a bit of jiggling to get a respectable sized fowl in place. As soon as it was there no issue, but could struggle with more compact birds. Will in shape a regular british isles 330ml can in the gap. Could possibly test it sometime, but i predominantly bought it to prepare dinner the chicken upright.

Just about little plenty of to healthy into a united kingdom medium-sized chicken (c. Does a great career of keeping the chicken upright, not guaranteed about bigger chickens (will need to check and report back). Straightforward clean, utilised only the moment so really don’t know about rusting and so on.

  • What a fab gadget for £3.99!
  • Perfect and for hoppy chicken and works well with half

Does the career i do endorse :).

Fantastic and for hoppy chicken and will work nicely with fifty percent a tin of brewdog’s lifeless pony club. Idea: drink 50 % the tin then warmth the fifty percent in the tin before pushing the smoke rubbed chicken in excess of the best. Then place in smoker or kettle bbq. For the rub i use smoked paprika and garlic paste. I have 2 of these as we generally prepare dinner two chickens and keep one in the fridge for chilly smoked chicken salad in the week.

The top is rather big for a ordinary 1. 5kg chicken -forcing it in is fantastic, pulling it out the rear end of a steaming scorching roasted chicken is comical at best, and irritating at worst. Would recommend nevertheless – it really is extremely stable in contrast to employing just a can.

Does what it claims on the tin. Balances the chicken truly very well, superior than can alone.

This minimal gadget is fantastic for cooking a chicken in a halogen oven, as very well as numerous other suggests of cooking. It matches a can of beer in the center for the famous ‘beer chicken’ recipe which i haven’t experimented with yet but it does appear with entire directions for use with or devoid of the beer.

Good really like this, chicken usually takes no time at all to prepare dinner and preferences wonderful. Would say on unfavorable side be very very careful when getting chicken off .

Fantastic for beer can chicken.

Can’t fault it and wonderful cost – twenty% of the rate of a effectively recognised bbq producer.

Nice massive basket and a decent closing / locking mechanism. The wire has no sharp edges suggesting it has a respectable thickness of chrome and will as a result not start off carrying absent.

Works properly, juiciest chicken i’ve at any time cooked. Failed to choose on significantly of the beer flavour but unquestionably the moistest chicken iv’e ever experienced.

This sort of a small machine designed a massive perception. Properly really worth the value in particular if you really don’t care for extra fat on your chicken. Ideal rotisserie chicken i at any time cooked.

These are fantastic and labored perfectly. My only downside is the dimension of the hole. I had to drive a can into the hole and break up the initially can. But a incredibly acceptable cost so can not complain to a great deal.

Is effective beautifully with or devoid of a beer can concerned. Aided me develop my most effective ever bbq’d chicken.

Experienced to bend the wires to get a common can to fit in. Not truly utilised it as yet though.

Applied it a pair of occasions and it delivered a fantastically moist chicken equally times. Arrived swiftly and was well packaged, would order yet again.

The top is quite big for a normal 1. 5kg chicken -forcing it in is fine, pulling it out the rear end of a steaming hot roasted chicken is comical at best, and frustrating at worst. Would recommend though – it’s very stable compared to using just a can.

Perfect and for hoppy chicken and works well with half a tin of brewdog’s dead pony club. Tip: drink half the tin then heat the half in the tin before pushing the smoke rubbed chicken over the top. Then place in smoker or kettle bbq. For the rub i use smoked paprika and garlic paste. I have 2 of these as we always cook two chickens and keep one in the fridge for cold smoked chicken salad in the week.

Much cheaper than some other (eg weber) products and does the same thing. And better than no stand as the beer cans can fall over if you dont use one.

    1. Who would think a piece of steel wire would produce the best chicken i’ve ever had. Stuck a can of stella in it (1/2 full) and it did actually infuse taste into the chicken. If fact writing this has made me decide i’m going to have chicken for tea.

It’s easy to use, very sturdy and easy to wash/clean too. With an ordinary roasting tray it works as wonderfully as those complicated things that cost £29i used half a can of cider and a small handful of sage from the garden, plus rubbing the chicken inside and out with seasoning: salt, pepper and onion granules, with a spoonful of oil. As it turned out, the oil was redundant and all of it dripped out and more, which makes it a low-fat meal. But the meat was moist and tender, falling off the bone, and the skin ultra-crisp. However i couldn’t get the chicken off the rack and can, and so covered it standing with foil and a tea towel for resting while making gravy from the drippings. I then carved it – or rather, pulled the meat off – with the chicken standing on the rack/can. A novel way of carving, but not a problem. I am never going to roast a chicken any other way.

    1. I bought this to do a vertical chicken on my big green egg for sunday dinner. Its simple construction makes it easy to use and clean, its also made of stainless steel which is important for cooking food. In use is a very simple concept, you slot the bird over the top and put in the bbq/ oven. For extra effect you can fit a coke sized can in the center of the holder. This can be filled with beer/wine/whatever mixture takes your fancy. It works an absolute treat, the bird comes out perfectly cooked and crispy in just over the hour. And far more tender/moist than you’d get from a conventional oven roasting. You could also use this in a normal oven, it wouldn’t be the same but it would still be nicetotally recommendi hope you found this review helpful.
