Seems fine brought it for a christmas present.

I’ve been looking for a soda siphon at the right price for a while and now i’ve found it, extremely happy.

I do like this product it is really easy to change a co2 bulb and fill and ready to go again brilliant thanking you.

I remember by father having one of these and being fascinated as a young child, watching him squirt this into a tumbler. I since discovered he was adding soda to his whiskyi love this siphon. I decided to give up alcohol for lent so purchased this. I guess it’s not cheap but it keeps longer than opened plastic soda bottles and far better for the environment. I have got through 15 capsules which i bought separately and all the other reviewers are so helpful so my thanks to them too.

Much better than going to shops and carrying back lots of bottles. Environmentallyrics friendly.

Well made , easy to operate. Takes readily available 8gm co2 cartridges.

Three stars only as i am slightly dissapointed in the quantity if bubbles in the water. . But its nonetheless pleasant water to drink. I do locate its rather high priced. . As there is not area to fill it with just one full litre and however have place to incorporate the co2 and also the minimal bottles of gasoline are also costly. As a result, i feel store acquired would do the job out more cost-effective. Its fairly cumbersome in the fridge also.

Great product at a very good price. And it usually means i is not going to be using any much more plastic bottles for my sparkling water.

It was a presie for the hubby whose preceding siphon was offering up the will to dwell. He is delighted with the new one and states it will work better than the aged one.

Will make excellent soda truly worth the price tag.

I acquired this as i had a big variety of gasoline cylinders from a former application. Otherwise the economics vs . funds carbonated water will not stack up. The soda maker was effortless to use and of pleasant visual appearance. I employed chilled water from the fridge as suggested, gave it a superior shake soon after injecting the fuel and the carbonation stage was wonderful. The initial time i applied it i set the cylinder in the silver holder and all went effectively. The second time ( following i had go through the instructions properly ) i applied the black holder. Sadly this time the fuel cylinder turned jammed in the holder right after injection and i invested 5 moment with a pair of pliers making an attempt to clear away it. I shall be utilizing only the silver holder in future. This could be simply because the cylinders i have are marginally non-standard. Aside from this its a properly suitable and wonderful hunting little bit of kit.

Good to have soda as and when , and not to gassy like shop bought soda.

  1. I bought this as i had a large number of gas cylinders from a previous application. Otherwise the economics versus budget carbonated water don’t stack up. The soda maker was easy to use and of nice appearance. I used chilled water from the fridge as recommended, gave it a good shake after injecting the gas and the carbonation level was fine. The first time i used it i put the cylinder in the silver holder and all went well. The second time ( after i had read the instructions properly ) i used the black holder. Unfortunately this time the gas cylinder became jammed in the holder after injection and i spent five minute with a pair of pliers trying to remove it. I shall be using only the silver holder in future. This may be because the cylinders i have are slightly non-standard. Apart from this its a perfectly adequate and nice looking bit of kit.

But cool it and put some fizz in it is a completely different story – i love fizzy water. So this old fashioned type soda syphon does the job perfectly. The secret is in using cold water – shaking to mix the gases and leave the whole thing in the fridge. The result is perfect fizzy water just as good as anything you buy in a shop at enormous cost. The unit is well made – good quality and works well.

    Bought it to reduce plastic waste. Not really any cheaper than a bottled version from the shop. Easy to use and looks quite sleek.

    Great and good price and going to buy one for my girlfriend. I would have given 5 stars but just two issues. Yes it does say no gas included ( did not pick this up haha) but one would have been good. There is stuff that is included that the instructions do not say what to do with rather would have had the gas. Still its a great product and use every day.

    Once we got the hang of it it’s been very good. Reliably gives fizzy water and saves on all that plastic waste. The confusion mainly came from the conflict between the instructions on the box and on the leaflet inside the box.

    Nicely made but odd to use, instructions say fill to four fifths but impossible to judge the level due to the construction, so some method of measuring needs to be worked out by the user to get this level right. Capacity is modest which makes it expensive (for gas cartridges) compared to plastic bottles which it was my aim to replace for environmental and convenience reasons.

    1. I really like this and now i have got used to using it works perfectly. Gives a nice soft fizz rather than the over fizzed water you can buy in bottles and is much better on the tummy. Mustn’t over fill the cylinder so only can do 3/4 full otherwise it dribbles out when the release the gas. Has drastically cut down on my plastic waste which was the main reason for getting this which is a massive plus too.

    Fantastic service from this supplier. I initially thought i had not got my booklet when it was delivered. I did not realise it was an e-booklet that gets emailed to you after delivery. I was too eager and sent off a message and with in about an hour i had a response apologising with a copy of the booklet attached which was then shortly followed up by the email i would have received. Great quality product and also looks great too. You just have to make sure you do not overfill it and also tighten up the top when getting ready to put the gas in. I was worried about being a bit heavy handed on my first go, so the gas sort of came out.

      1. I do like a splash of soda in my whisky and it irks me when i have to throw away a half filled bottle of soda water. This siphon does the trick and works well. My only slight problem is that the directions refer to filling it with water up to the 1000ml line – i defy anyone to see such a line in a metal bottle.
