Well worth the price every one we’ve made have been good just try on a shop bought pizza first to get used to temperature but a good buy.

Bought it for my partner for christmas as he loves pizzas and he also loves it. He hates to cook but he loves creating masterpieces with this machine. It is so easy to use and the pizzas are delicious. Just make sure to pre heat it and have your dough adequately floured. We bought pre made dough once and used the stone to rest it on while we added the toppings and then turned it on.

Amazing pizzas and gluten-free pizzas in about 4 minutes. Couldn’t fault it in any way and had hours of tasty fun with it already – really excellent.

Only potential downside is cleaning it as the stone gets stained, but that shouldn’t affect it’s use.

Used the 00 flour and follow and fine samolina flour as in jamie oliver recipe.

Not the best to start with be warned lots of practice in making dough shop bases will burn even on low settings , if you are the sort to have a go then put in the cupboard its not for you. This baby needs lots of practice, now it’s good altho build quality could be better.

I’m really happy with the product. My pizzas are thin, nice and crispy but not hard. But i find it that before you put your pizza on the stone you need to cool it down for a less than minute otherwise base will be burnt.

Great bit of kit, had contemplated a full size garden job, then thought about british weather. Opted for this based on price, you can cook great pizza any time. Very impressed maybe not the best looking thing but boy can it turn out an authentic pizza in 5 mins.

Amazing pizzas and so easy to use. Number 3 for approx 5mins is the perfect setting.

If your cooking homemade pizzas, just pre cook the dough base for a minute or so. Don’t expect take away style pizza, expect homemade style pizza. Definitely worth a purchase.

Unreal machine, you would struggle to find better pizza in italy.

And everything went very well. The only challenge is the stone, not simple for cleaning.

If you make your individual dow its superior to put the all set pizza base very first on the stone which is preheated. Than immediately place on the sauce and other elements.

Have applied this two times and have observed that if you use parchment paper under the pizza and flip the temperature down it is considerably less very likely to burn the base. Extremely joyful with the merchandise.

  1. Have used this twice and have found that if you use parchment paper under the pizza and turn the temperature down it is less likely to burn the bottom. Very happy with the product.

    1. Pizza burnt onto the stone even when following the instructions. The stone is unusable now so i have contacted the seller and i am waiting on a replacement stone now (waiting for them to come into stock at the sellers – for over 3 weeks already). I will update when i get the new stone and retry at cooking a pizza.

    Dough: to 500g flour i add 2 teaspoons salt and 1 tablespoon of good olive. Separately measure 330 ml tepid water containing 14g yeast (2 uk sachets) + 1 teaspoon sugar. Add to flour and mix in blender with hook for 5 mins. Then i hand knead for 5 more using semolina dough as a helper (00 flour would be fine too). Dough into lightly oiled plastic container and leave at room temp 15 mins. Then i divide into 4 x 200g (each for 10 inch pizza) sections fold dough a few times then make round balls. And into lightly oiled sealable plastic bags 24h-48h in fridge (up to you guys but min of 24 h id say (fridge makes sweeter better tasting dough than proving at room temperature but if your in a rush prove dough first an hour or so at room temperature,. Make balls and prove again for at least anther hour at room temp ). Take out of fridge leave an hour to warm up and make your ca 10inch base.

    This is the top new gadget in our house and far exceeded our expectations. It is so much better than a pizza stone for the oven and more practical than an outdoor pizza oven with the same results but heats up in minutes.

    This makes great pizzas, very quickly. We find setting 3 for 3-4 minutes is sufficient and cooks the pizzas evenly with no burning of the base. Must mention the first one we received caught fire. We used setting 5 and sprinkled flour on the stone plate (as per instructions) but the plate caught fire. No hassle replacement and hence we use setting 3 on this new one. The stone plate does blacken with use but when cleaned with hot, soapy water and left to air dry it doesn’t affect the cooking of the subsequent pizzas. We are trying different flour combinations and all cook well, but i would say the caputo red tipo 00 italian flour from naples gives the best flavour and texture- very authentic. If making your own pizzas this product is essential to light and crispy bases and hot, melted toppings; our conventional ovens (gas and electric) did not work well as they don’t reach the required temperature for authentic pizza. We love pizza night and this gives a very quick turnover when there are 4-5 of us.

    Firstly , don’t flour the stone before first use, it burnt and smoke billowed everywhere. Back to the beginning again. Turn it up to 5, pizza on, lid down, look in 5 minutes. Make sure the dough is quite wet, my first dough was too dry and the base was too crispy. Use a really good flavoursome cheese, nothing prepackaged, make sure your pizza sauce is flavoursome, plain margherita is just fine. The machine is hot and fast, i just need some more practice. My family will be eating pizza every day for weeks until i get this right.

    1. The g&p ek2309 is an excellent pizza oven. Having had a g3 ferrari g10006 delizia pizza oven for 3 years which i then managed to destroy by melting a tray under a shop bough pizza and was unable to get a replacement stone. I decided to buy the g&p as spare stones are readily available and also is significantly less to buy. There are a few cons compared to the ferrari but there are also a lot of pros and overall i personally think the g&p is actually a better oven. On the pros: after using this now at least 5 times, i can say the pizza bases are always crisp, not always the case with the ferrari especially with more loaded pizzas. The accessories are also better a decent large cutting wheel and aluminium pizza paddles. The cons: the lead is a little short and be aware the stone will lift out even when the oven is on. Also i wouldn’t use the front handle as heat escapes from this point when lifted. Use the handle on the top and you will be fine even without oven gloves. I would therefore strongly recommend this pizza oven.
