    I use this to dry meat for use as dog treats. My main bug is that things like liver, leak between the holes of the trays whilst drying, and it takes forever to remove the stains, as chemicals must not be used to clean it. It also takes between 5-6 hours on maximum to achieve complete dryness, (meat is cut into very thin slices) and smells horrible when doing it. Appreciate that the smell is not the machines fault – i have placed it in a shed rather than the kitchen.I like the whole process but will probably get a higher spec machine in the future due to the time it takes to dry meat.

    Having no recipe/suggestions on timing so have had to use the internet which has been challenging. You can scrub off dried fruit from the trays.
