    The halogen bulb arrived very quickly. I haven’t used it yet (it’s a back up because the other bulb isn’t as bright as it used to be, so i expect it to break soon) but i have ordered the same bulb before. It’s expensive for something that doesn’t last long, (halogen bulbs don’t have a long life, especially if used often).

    I have a stanley range cooker that is generally too hot to in the summer, so i bbq, use the hob top and rarely use the oven. When i got a halogen oven i was thrilled, amongst other things chicken dinners were back on the menu – a family favourite. Through the summers i use it most days and unsurprisingly the bulbs have needed replacing. I replaced the bulb for the third time end of last summer but disappointingly it went about 2 weeks later, not what i’ve experienced in the past. I ordered another bulb but because it was now autumn my cooker was back on so the halogen oven and bulb were ‘mothballed’. The weather is warming again and i have just got out my halogen oven to replace the bulb but it is broken. I wasn’t very impressed with the packaging of the previous bulb but it did work for a short time so i thought this one would be ok too. I am now going to order again as i do really want to use my halogen oven but if this one is defective i won’t be ordering again as that will be £36 spent with no cooker at the end of it. Andrew james, i hope your packaging has improved.

    Came in 9″ x 12″ cardboard box in very thin bubble bag not even sealed. This bulb is very small and slim so very surprised not broken in bits.

I then found out i had a 2year warranty,contacted andrew james and just a few days later i received a replacement halogen oven.First class oven, first class customer service.

    As a single elderly man, to put on the large oven to cook a small meal for one is wasteful so this is where the andrew james tabletop halogen oven is a godsend. I bought mine from amazon 4 years ago and the bulb has only just gone, which is not bad considering the amount of use it gets daily. The only problem now is where on earth i stored the spare bulb?. If i don’t find it soon i shall have to order a new one which is fine if it is going to last as long.
